8 DAYS CAMPING SAFARI
Manyara - Serengeti - Ngorongoro
Day 1: Arusha - Manyara
After lunch and a safari briefing at Mountain Village, drive to Lake Manyara for dinner and overnight at a permanent tented camp.
Day 2: Lake Manyara
Full day to game / bird view around the Lake shore and plains near the River Simba. There are plenty of Hippo to see and Cape Buffalo and time to seek out the tree-climbing Lions. Second night at the camp.
Day 3: Manyara - Serengeti
This morning drive up through the primeval forest to the Serengeti Plains via Ngorongoro arriving at your private camp where your crew has lunch waiting. Game drive in the afternoon until Sunset. Dinner and overnight at your camp.
Day 4/5: Serengeti
Two full days to explore this wildlife enclave. Black maned male Lions, Cheetah, Elephant, thousands of Gazelles and maybe the “Grand” spectacle of the Wildebeest migration. Overnight at your private camp.
Day 6: Serengeti - Ngorongoro
Today say goodbye to your camp crew and game view on the way for an excursion to Olduvai Gorge. Picnic lunch, then on to Ngorongoro for overnight at a lodge overlooking the Crater.
Day 7: Ngorongoro
Descend this morning to the Crater floor to find the rare Black Rhino or one of the several prides of Lion that reside here. Picnic lunch by the Hippo pools before returning to the lodge in the late afternoon for overnight.
Day 8: Ngorongoro - Arusha
Returning to Arusha for lunch and then transfer to Town where the tour ends.
