Manyara - Serengeti - Ngorongoro - Tarangire - Lake Duluti
Day 1 Arusha - Manyara
Afternoon departure to Lake Manyara for overnight at a hotel / lodge.
Day 2 Manyara-Serengeti
This morning a game drive in the National Park by the lake and in the forest. Hippo abound by the River Simba and you may be lucky to see the tree-climbing Lions. Lunch, then drive to the Serengeti via Ngorongoro game viewing on the way to your lodge for overnight.
Day 3 Serengeti
Full day to explore the plains looking for Lion, Cheetah, Elephant, Buffalo and may be a Leopard on one of the many rocky outcrops called Kopjes (pronounces “copies”) a second overnight in the Serengeti.
Day 4 Serengeti - Ngorongoro
This morning visit Olduvai Gorge reputed to tbe the “Cradle of Manking” After a picnic lunch, on to Ngorongoro Crater game viewing on the way to your lodge for dinner overnight.
Day 5 Ngorongoro
Descend to the Crater floor by Land Cruiser for a full day fame viewing. Return to your lodge in the early eveningfor a second overnight.
Day 6 Ngorongoro - Tarangire
After breakfast department for Tarangire National Park. In the afternoon a game drive amongst the large-boled Baobab trees. Overnight at a lodge or tented camp.
Day 7 Tarangire - Lake Duluti
Early morning game drive - a late breakfast, then return to Arusha in time for lunch. In the afternoon an escorted walk round the lake shore. Dinner and overnight at mountain Village or similar.
Day 8 Arusha
This morning drive to Arusha Town where the tour ends.
