12 DAYS CAMPING SAFARI
Tarangire - Manyara - Ngorongoro - Serengeti - Arusha
Day 1: Arusha - Tarangire
Departing from Arusha after lunch, our first night is spent at our private camp in Tarangire National Park.
Day 2: Tarangire
A full day in the Park where many plains animals gather in the dry season to stay by the permanent water of the River. Second night at your camp.
Day 3: Tarangire - Manyara
Morning game viewing in the Park. Lunch, then leave the camp for Lake Manyara. In the meantime your crew will move the camp to Ngorongoro. En route to Manyara visit the African market at Mto wa Mbu before arriving at your luxury permanent tented camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Manyara
Full day in the Park to se the Hippos, Flamingos by the Lake and the hot sulphur springs. Watch out for the Lions in the lower branches of the Acacia trees, getting away from the bitting Tsetse flies. Second night at he camp.
Day 5: Manyara - Ngorongoro
Drive to Ngorongoro up trough the primeval forest to the rim of the Crater where your crew waits your arrival for lunch at your camp. In the afternoon an excursion to the Crater floor for game viewing returning to the camp in the early evening for overnight.
Day 6: Ngorongoro
Descend again to the Crater floor for a full day of game viewing in this unique enclave which harbors a small number of Black Rhinos. Picnic lunch by the Hippo pools and in the late afternoon return to your camp for a second night.
Day 7: Ngorongoro - Serengeti
Morning excursion to Olduvai Gorge with a picnic lunch whilst your crew moves the camp to the Serengeti. Game view on the way to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 8/9/10: Serengeti
This morning drive to your private camp already set-up by your crew. Then for the next three days explore with your driver / guide looking for prides of Lion or maybe a Leopard up a Sausage tree or a Cheetah stalking Gazelle. We are sure you will not be disappointed. Overnights at your own private camp.
Day 11: Serengeti - Arusha
Morning game viewing, then after a late breakfast transfer to Seronera Airstrip for the schedule flight back to Arusha for lunch at Mountain Village. In the afternoon are escorted nature / birdwatching walk around the shore of Lake Duluti. Dinner and overnight at the lodge or similar.
Day 12: Arusha
After breakfast transfer to Town where the tour ends
